Some abilities cannot be taught and are innate.
Some skills need no enhancement.
Just admiration and amazement.
Workshops provide an opportunity to emphasize the vision as well as the roles and expectations. One of the first steps is scheduling and planning the workshop.
Many of the newer team members had never had formal training in the learning and development profession, let alone courses in time management, preparation, training delivery, questioning techniques or presentation skills.

It was time for a quick review.
If I were granted a single wish, I would ask for a single, outstanding skill. I would wish to be a motivational trainer, speaker and workshop creator. I would provide not just words of encouragement, but specific actionable steps that provide a roadmap for those who desire it.
With the proper training, what appears initially to be a failure, may in fact expose a potential or provide an opportunity to grow in another direction. A key element is the ability to pivot past the “failure”, embrace the new opportunity and move forward.
