Positive reinforcement can impact the relationship between employees, clients, vendors and managers.
Examples of someone being present and supportive in a challenging workplace.
Think back over the last week and ask yourself:
- When did someone step in and disrupt or stop an unwarranted or unprovoked tirade on another employee?
- Did you speak up when someone in the meeting “over-talked” or effectively silenced another team member’s attempt to provide input, suggestions or feedback? Or just participate?
- Was an employee “frozen out” or given the silent treatment by others and yet, one person on the job stepped up to support or befriend the silenced team member?
